He lives in you
Good morning, I am gonna hit you in the vegetable basket! :)
A common issue in today's society, which I have noticed in myself and others, is insecurity. This can relate to one's appearance, personality, or abilities. There is a profound fear that we are not enough, that we lack the capacity to make a difference, or to make someone stay or care. Even more harmful is when we let our insecurity dictate whether we pursue our dreams due to the fear of rejection and failure. It's disheartening that we limit ourselves because of fear. And is especially cruel, as we are both the prisoner and the jailer. Forgive me, but I must tell the truth:
GOD DID NOT CREATE YOU TO LIVE IN FEAR! SO STOP WAKE UP AND DECLARE THE TRUTH!
2 Timothy 1:7 states, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
When we embrace Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, He lives within us (Romans 8:9)! The Creator of the universe resides in you! Let that resonate! The One who triumphed over death, hell, and the grave chooses to inhabit a flawed and insecure vessel. For when He sees me, He does not notice my insecurities; He only sees His daughter. I am nothing more or less than that. When I remember to whom I belong, I can recall who I am and the calling on my life! Just like in The Lion King, Simba needed to be reminded of who his father was and recognize the call on his life. To have the courage to reclaim what was lost.
So I encourage you to live boldly, keeping in mind that the Savior of the world resides within you, and it is through His strength, not your own! Embrace His love, darling, and seek Jesus, observing how He transforms the world through His imperfect vessels.
